Window Cleaning
How often should windows be cleaned?

Factors that affect a sensible window-cleaning schedule for homes, offices and shopfronts.
There is no single timetable
Location, traffic, nearby trees, weather exposure and the building's use all affect how quickly glass and frames become marked. A shopfront may need more frequent attention than upstairs residential windows.
Start with the appearance you want to maintain, then adjust the schedule after observing how the glass looks between visits.
Do not forget frames and sills
Cleaning only the pane can leave dirt around seals and corners. Agree whether frames, sills, doors and internal glass are included.
Safe access matters. Professional cleaners should assess height, ground conditions and obstructions before deciding on equipment.
Plan around other work
Arrange window cleaning after dusty building or gardening work where possible. For businesses, schedule it before important events or seasonal displays.
Report damaged seals, cracked panes or loose fittings to an appropriate repair professional; cleaning is not a substitute for maintenance.
